TUGUEGARAO CITY- Barangay People's Day

The Barangay People's Day which was envisioned in 2013 as a program directed towards bringing the basic services of the City Government to the forty nine (49) barangays of the City.
With the installation of Hon. Bienvenido De Guzman II as the new Mayor, the program is on-going. It emanates from the doctrine that a participatory government is considered the bastation of GOOD GOVERNANCE.
As a consequence therefore, when the city government of Tuguegarao brings to the people the basic services it is mandated to deliver, the traditional gap between them has eventually closed up.
In capsule form, the ultimate aim of Barangay People's Day is to bring the City Government closer to the people, irrespective of Political affiliation or religion but with the emphasis on poor and marginalized constituencies. Everyone is considered a qualified beneficiary of the following basic services.
• Medical
• Dental
• Optical
• Agricultural
• Social Welfare
• Civil Registry
• Treasury (payment of taxes, fees, etc.)
• Real Property Assessments
• Accountancy
• Budgetary Requirements
• Engineering Services
• Legal Services
