Good Governance and Social Responsibility of Tuguegarao City

In order for our tricycle drivers and some clients whose waiting for their companions to have shed and passengers, the City Government of Tuguegarao allotted a space in front of the entrance of the City Hall. # TuguegaraoCityGoodGovernanceandSocialResponsibility

As we all know, signages plays a very important role in all agencies and establishment most especially when the establishment is wide and have a lot of offices. The signages serves as the guide of clients. They are the type of silent agents of a business. Outside the City Hall, there is an allotted parking space which bears a tagline of "PARKING SPACE FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITY". And in order to maintain the cleanliness within the area, there is a trash bin and signa ge which bears a tagline of "NO LITTERING". Lastly, in order for the clients to be guided, upon entering the City Hall of Tuguegarao, there is a DIRECTORY wherein the names of offices were placed and into what floor they can be seen. In order to get the feedbacks of the clients who have availed the services each offices offers, there is also a feedback form placed in the Information Desk. This is a way to know what are the insights of the clients about the services they have availed. Upang higit na makilala ang mga produkto ng mga maliliit na negosyantesa lungsod at tumaas ang mga kita nito,, binuksan ang apat pasalubong centers na matatagpuan sa Tuguegarao City Domestic Airport, Luna Street sa People's General Hospital, City Hall Grounds at sa Central Public Market Mall of the Valley. Ayon sa aming pagsisiyasat na ginanap, ang higit na binibili ng karamihan ay ang mga pagkaing gawa dito sa ating lungsod.

Mayor's Cup is a yearly event which was sponsored by the City Government of Tuguegarao. It was a battle among the different barangays of Tuguegarao City. The aim of this event is for the youth of Tuguegarao to showcase their abilities in terms of Sports and build camaraderie and sportmanship in a battle. The game was held at the People's Gymnasium.

Barangay Cab is the vehicle used by our PNP to roam around the city and checked places everyday. This vehicle is used to maintain the safety in Tuguegarao City. While the Ambulance is a vehicle for transportation of ill or injured people to, from or between places of treatment for an illness or injury, and in some instances will also provide out of hospital medical care to the patient. These vehicles were all provided by our City Government of Tuguegarao to give the services needed by the Citizens of Tuguegarao. It is one way of showing how the City Government extends their services to people.

In order to have a good system in transportation, every tricycle driver whose regular employment is operating a tricycle has the resposibility to have a Mayor's Permit and a franchise license first before they can operate within the City. Anyone caught to operate without the said permits and license will be penalized.

In order for the citizens of Tuguegarao City who have businesses to be informed or reminded, the City Government of Tuguegarao always posts a signage indicating the schedule for the payment of City taxes for the current year.

In order to eliminate the increasing rate of accidents here in Tuguegarao City, the City Government of Tuguegarao have a project of putting street lights to busy and provincial roads and to accident prone areas. This project covers the places of Prov'l Road along the Brgy. Bagay, Tanza, Libag, Pallua and Cataggaman. And also to Macapagal Road. # GoodGovernaceandSocialResponsibility

Marriage is a ceremony in which two people legally or formally recognized union as partners in a personal relationship. The City Government of Tuguegarao sponsored a mass wedding for the 20 Couples. SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS (SPES)- an employment bridging program during Summer or Vacation. The main objective of SPES is to augment the family's income of poor but deserving students, out of school youths (OSY) or dependents of displaced workers who intend to finish their education. Last April 27, 2017, 110 Youth of Tuguegarao City attended and undergo with the orientation through Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and with the help of Department of  Labor and Employment (DOLE) for their 20 days summer job. The said event started last May 8, 2017 for the Junior High School and June 19, 2017 for the College Students. One of the speakers in the recently held orientation was Vice Mayor Jude Bayona. In order to create efficient sewerage system, the City Government of Tuguegarao has an on-going project named CONSTRUCTION OF MAIN DRAINAGE STRUCTURE. This project is amounted to P 15,943,284.00 and has a contract duration of 240 calendar days. The location covered by this project are the Street of Maura, Burgos, Gomez, Aguinaldo, Del Rosario of Tuguegarao City. This project is expected to be done by September 15, 2017. In order to maintain the campaign for Ecological Solid Waste Management (RA 9003) in our community, the City Government of Tuguegarao through the leadership of TCENRO gave stickers which bears a tagline "BASURA NG PASAHERO KO, PANANAGUTAN KO" to tricycle drivers. And to establishments which also bears a tagline of "TAPAT KO, LINIS KO! BASURA KO PANANAGUTAN KO". Anyone caught violating provisions of this law will be penalized.
